Residence Permit (Spain)

If you are renewing your residence card and have an Autorización de Regreso, you cannot transit in any Schengen country. Choose a flight with no European layovers.
Temporary Residents

OFWs: Apply for your OEC (Overseas Employment Certificate) at least 1 month before your flight.

Travel Tax: Required for temporary dependent residents (comunitario temporal) or Schengen visa holders upon departure from the Philippines (₱1,620).

Visa Policy

Nationals under Executive Order 408 can stay visa-free for up to 30 days.

For longer stays, apply for a Philippine visa before your flight at the Philippine Embassy in Madrid.
BALIKBAYAN PROGRAM
Eligibility
-
The Philippines’ Balikbayan Program grants a one-year visa-free stay to overseas Filipinos and former Filipinos who are now citizens of certain countries

Requirements

Foreign passport valid for at least 6 months.

Former Filipino: Old/expired Philippine passport or Philippine birth certificate.

Foreign spouse: Marriage certificate with english translation or Report of Birth filed at the Embassy.

Foreign minor unmarried children: Birth certificate with english translation or Report of Marriage filed at the Embassy.

WHAT TO EXPECT BEFORE YOUR FLIGHT?

We will prepare all your pre-departure documents such as etravel registration and online check in, and once everything is ready, you will receive the following by email:

Airlines sometimes make minor schedule changes; you’ll receive the latest e-ticket

eTravel Assistance

We will do the registration for you and send the QR code.

No need to print. You can save it in your phone so you can access even without internet connection.

Arrival in the Philippines: Required for Filipino and Foreign nationals.

Departure: Required for Filipino nationals only.

Online Check-In

Opens 24 hours before departure time.

Seat selection: Optional (Fees from 60€ depending on airline).

If you prefer not to pay, we will complete the check-in using the airline’s complimentary pre-assigned seats.

If your flight involves two different airlines, online check-in might not be possible — please check in at the airport.

If online check-in is not available due to airline restrictions or other factors beyond our control, please collect your boarding pass directly at the airport check-in counter.

Philippine airports (Manila, Cebu, Clark, Davao) do not support digital boarding passes due to additional immigration checks. You’ll be issued a printed boarding pass at the airport check-in counter.
