Continue to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, built in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II. Known as the Pink City, though not always so, Jaipur was planned around four main avenues: two large parallel streets cut it along its entire length into three equal-width sections; two other streets run perpendicular to the first, dividing it into nine parts, the nine rectangular neighborhoods of Jaipur symbolizing the nine parts of the universe. Its thriving trade and industries in textiles, jewelry, and others make Jaipur a prosperous city.

Free time at the famous local market "Bazaar Bapu," just a few meters from the tourist shops at the entrance to the City Palace. The Taj Mahal was built by the great emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved queen. It is said that the design and construction were carried out by the legendary architect Ustad Ahmed Lahori.
Next, visit the Mankameshwar Temple, one of the ancient temples dedicated to the god Shiva. The temple has a sanctum where the "vigraha" of Lord Shiva is placed. It is surrounded by typical Shiva family idols. Behind the sanctum, there are several smaller temples within the main temple complex dedicated to various deities such as Goddess Ganga, Saraswati, Krishna, and Rama.
We will also visit the impressive "Agra Fort." The buildings inside this fort complex, which grew continuously, represent the assimilation of different cultures, characteristic of the Mughal period. Most of the structures in Agra Fort are a mix of different architectural styles.
